I find myself being completely relaxed while commuting and listening to Composer NICK GLENNIE-SMITH's soothing "WE WERE SOLDIERS" Soundtrack CD.

i think it was a pretty damned fair show and i dont think anybody imagined the threat of 9/11 untill it happened, but saying that the Clintons had the better chance of getting them and stopping them when the group, plot was new, young,in it's infancy,by 2001 it was too late

Two of the more famous ones are Debt of Honor and Executive Orders, both by Tom Clancy.
You are correct of course...
It is ABC News that is at fault for capitulating to CAIR!
I was kind of upset when I posted that last night..watching that special makes one want to say some really bad things about Islamofascists like CAIR represents...
As always, you sir, have a calm mind to think these things through...thank you!

Don't forget the same is true of sending anthrax letters. See Robin Cook's "Vector", written 2 years before 9/11.

I do not care who is in charge. It is their job to predict and anticipate it. (Not arguing with you, just my own personal opiinion) Clinton was sorely lacking in priorities.
If memory serves, Orin Hatch has said he has been warning about bin laden long before he was on the radar map. Does anyone remember exactly when he expressed concern regarding bin laden?
Is anyone pinging to the show tonight?
So far, it's been very interesting.
I wonder if Robin Cook was ever a "person of interest"? Just kidding of course.
I watched it, and recorded it, amazing program.
I see this thread has been removed from breaking news. Hopefully, someone will start a new thread for tonight. I would volunteer, but have a REC meeting this evening. Should be back in time for Part II.
Below is the other 3 resources they used for anthrax. The flavor of 2 of these seems to be the FBI investigating an Al Qaeda connection - but finding none.
From what I've been told, part 1 of the documentary focussed on gross FBI incompetence.
Let's hope they have something to say about the criminal incompetence of the FBI (and especially the utter incompetence of their crime lab) as it pertains to the farcical anthrax investigation.

Despite recent claims by some in the bioterrorism community that the investigation should be homing in on one particular American bioweapons expert (who denies any involvement), the FBI appears to be moving in the opposite direction. U.S. government officials say the investigation is still ranging far and wide and that the FBI has not ruled out a foreign connection. The charred remains thought to belong to hijackers from United Flight 93, which crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, and American Airlines Flight 77, which smashed into the Pentagon, were examined for anthrax residue. None was found. All told,...

Tracking the Anthrax Attacks
By Viveca Novak and Mark Thompson
At one point last week, it began to look as if the anthrax mailings might have an al-Qaeda connection after all. For one thing, military sources confirmed that anthrax traces had been found in several al-Qaeda training facilities. Around the same time, word leaked that Christos Tsonas, a Florida doctor who had treated Ahmed Ibrahim A. Al Haznawi, one of the Sept. 11 hijackers, for a skin lesion, had changed his diagnosis to anthrax after the attacks.
But authorities continue to believe the anthrax killer is a domestic terrorist who operated under cover of the Sept. 11 hysteria. The anthrax traces in Afghanistan could be environmental, according to the military. Troops have found 50 to 60 sites in the country where it seemed al-Qaeda was studying or trying to make and weaponize anthrax; the most advanced was near Kandahar. But they found no evidence of the bioterrorism agent itself. "It was more like a science-fair project than a weapons lab," a Pentagon official says.

Thank you.
I'm going to set the TV for a reminder. 6pm Central time.
They mention "the planes" operation, but never call it project bojinka.
How can the FBI say that they didn't know this! Heck, it was reported in the news. WE KNEW ABOUT IT! Long before 9-11, these plans had been reported on.
We knew about this at the same time that they were talking about Terry Nichol's Filipino wife. And everyone carefully avoided drawing any lines.
Did you read the other day that Clinton didn't bother taking most of his Presidential Security briefings? Berger took them, and passed along what he thought Bill needed to know. I swear the man was out to lunch during his whole presidency. That will be his real legacy, when someone publishes his ACTUAL schedule while he was in office.

Gee, if only the Clintons and Reno knew that there were children in Waco....
Oh, wait - nevermind. :-(
