www.aljazeera.com is not the TV station (see the about page at http://www.aljazeera.com/about.asp ). The TV channel website is at http://english.aljazeera.net (where for some bizarre reason the lead culture story is Hunter S Thompson's sendoff).
Thanks for the clarification. The TV website is much more sanitized than the actual Arabic channel.
