That's right, and no offense to all FR but using a thread with 83plus posts about her shoes, her face or her feet is childish and demeaning to the REAL ISSUE and to our party and our President.
The real issue is a mother using her grief as a tool for her anti-war friends DURING THIS CRUCIAL TIME IN IRAQ, our military has fought, including her son, for this time were the Iraquis are trying to form a democracy and a constitution.
Thats what we should be discussing, giving the real reasons she is so wrong and why it is so horrid to team up with anti-war people when her own son believed in the war and fought and gave his life for his beleifs and to say that's how she is dishonoring her sons memory.
Her looks, shoes, or name calling is just plain childish and
foolish when we should be spreading a message against what she and her friends are doing to our country and our troops!
Support our troops!! Lord knows she isn't!
Off my soapbox now.
I think some of the comments about Cindy are out of line. She is no beauty Queen but that is not a crime. As to the choice of Foot wear who knows. The beauty of a Free Market is that consumers are the ones who make a choice. Give me a break folks. What rubs me the wrong way is folks like Mr. Opus the Actor showing up and whining about his son being drafted. Same BS really they need new material. The Military Doctrine of Transformation requires computer and high tech skills. The Military wants smart soldiers not just warm bodies. We have a digital military that shares real time combat data.
And our Soldiers have proven their Smarts and discretion repeatedly. Those with the least training have gotten into the most trouble. The Abu Graib Scandal comes to mind. Even there the Military Justice system was on the miscreants. With Court Martial and punishments in the works.
Great image --- Cindy's Left foot.
Mother Sheehan could have sent some of her excess money to grieving Iraqi mothers.
Young victims of the attacks by Saddam and his Ba'ath forces on Halabja.
Dang. She is classier than I thought. I expected the tatoo to be on her butt. I think you can get sandals that look just like those at Walmart for $9.99
Hell I've been to Kenya and I've never seen anything like that!
Her toes are hanging off the edges! Yuck.
Looks like the perfect footwear to make her grab a guitar and join Peter, Paul (I forget, which one is the child molester?) and Mary for a rousing rendition of "Blowin' In The Wind." They could follow that with "Kumbayah." Then they could all sit around the campfire and pass the joint. Somebody could make up a batch of brown acid like they had at Woodstock. Earth to Cindy and your band of ragtag elderly hippies: The sixties was a long time ago.
BTW, I'm guessing that Ben and Jerry paid for her trendy sandals.
I bought cheapy sandals in that style last year at wallyworld, and have even walked up mountainsides in them. Not bad for two seasons and five dollars.
But chic has nothing to do with praticality. Those that buy expensive do it at least in part to show that they are cooler than us proles.
If that writeup is true, she's going to need several dozen more pair.
And is the Masai Tribe getting commissions on this?
Where is her ankle bone?
Boolhockey. She loves it. It's attention, isn't it?
Well that's a much better post than mine! Thanks for the on the spot, eyewitness report. :-)
Thanks for the picture! Not a one of those people are wearing any footwear that is anything at all like the horrors on Cindy's foot.
No kidding. Typical California drama queen. And she probably has her coffee brought down from a Starbucks in Waco.
