"I heard today on FNC that one thing that seems to be making it into the Constitution is establishing ISLAMIC LAW as the law of the land... "

A few days ago, they had an interview with an Iraqi delegate (? - I don't recall who or which group he represented) who said Islamic law will inform but will not be the law of the land. The way he said it, it sounded like Christianity here in the US. Sorry I can't recall more.

I wouldn't pay much attention to what the MSM has to say about what is going on in Iraq. When have they ever got it right?

Just because they number in the majority in 4 provences doesn't mean they will be able to convince everyone to vote against the constitution, provided it is fair.

It may be that but I also see it as an unnecessary risk of Americans. I've believed since the beginning that this war needed to be fought, and our service personnel have done their job admirably. But the political machinations and haggling of the whole damned middle east aren't worth one needlessly dead American.

I still think that any delay by Iraq concerning their political problems should not be at the expense of American servicemen. Washington needs to tell the Iraqis that they have to get their chit together and "giterdone". The U.S. Armed Forces are NOT "peace keepers" and they should not be made to act as such. If the world wants peace-keeping, call on that worthless band of morons from the U.N.

Tying the hands of our military by restricting how they may operate in Iraq is criminal!

I would think that the majority Sunnis would be 2/3s in the Sunni triangle region, but I don't know. I hope you are right, but I'm still worried...

Ahmadinejad is a shi'ite...is he harmless? He isn't a Wahhabi, but he is still for the world caliphate.

I suggest it isn't a matter of Sunni vs Shi'ite.

Islam is the product of the anti-G-D. It is "part" of the anti-Christ...but there is more. Ask John Kerry and the secular humanists (read atheists).
