reporters dug into the senator's transcripts and discovered that he finished 76th out of 85 in his Syracuse law class This is the genius the Democrats have questioning Supreme Court candidates ?

Biden's a pampered spoiled brat, and not very bright either. His campaign attempt would be a bloggers dream come true.:)
Not to mention that a Democrat Senator from Delaware has barely more appeal than a Democratic Senator from Massachusetts to the rest of the nation.

If Kerry rejoins the fray...and Biden steps up......what a great debate over who said what first.
Throw in Al Gore and you've got a Democrat primary made in heaven........except maybe HRC from the lower regions.

I wonder who he'll plagarize from if he runs again?

""Biden's candidacy had all the believability of George Costanza discoursing about architecture.""
Great line...I remember the Biden candidacy...I was in college at the time. I actually remember it well and every time I see him on TV, I wonder if what he has plagiarized since the 1980s.
In my opinion, he is damaged and will not be able to recover from that...I cannot believe the Dems would hitch their wagon to Biden.
You know that the quotes noted in the article will come out again and people who care about honesty will NOT vote for Biden (and those who do not care are those who will probably just NOT VOTE period).

Combining this intellectual larceny with a couple of ill-timed temper tantrums and exaggerated academic prowess (reporters dug into the senator's transcripts and discovered that he finished 76th out of 85 in his Syracuse law class) and Biden's candidacy had all the believability of George Costanza discoursing about architecture. Hopefully reporters will also start digging up some of his escapes that contributed to his 76th finish in law class..............

(and those who do not care are those who will probably just NOT VOTE period). Actually they do vote - they are called Delaware voters.

Hah! This quintessential democrat graduated at the bottom of his class.
We cannot be so lucky as to have him on the ticket.
The Clintons will brush him aside like trash.

Biden has something else in common with Kinnock, "the Welsh windbag," and it has nothing to do with Wales.

Biden's combination of stupidity and arrogance isn't unique in the Senate, but he's one of the worst, along with leahey and a couple of others. His previous Presidential run self-destructed in a few weeks, but it was fun to watch while it lasted. The more RATS hillary has to run against, the better.

The more RATS hillary has to run against, the better. So true - leaves her with LESS time, and MONEY, to run against the eventual GOP candidate.

Surprisingly enough,
Tradesports has Hair Plugs in #3 behind the Hildabeast (way out front) and Warner, followed closely by Bayh then Edwards with Gore and Richardson lagging behind. Kerry is way in back of the pack, dead even with Weasley Clark but ahead of Corzine.
Egad, what a weak bench! It's a race to the bottom with Hitlery ultimately taking the ring.

Biden running for President does make true the statement that "In America, anyone can run for President." A book is coming out about his career in the Senate....uh, do they mean pamphlet?
To: RWR8189
Hugh Hewitt refers to Joe Biden as "Dim Joe Biden". After listening to Joe Biden on C-SPAN a few times, methinks Mr Hewitt is being a little generous.

EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO, Biden's campaign unraveled only three-and-a-months after he first announced when it was revealed--by a rival operative, who leaked incriminated videotapes to the press--that the Delaware senator has been plagiarizing other politicians' material, including words from a television ad by former British Labor leader Neil Kinnock and speeches by Robert F. Kennedy and Hubert H. Humphrey.I have to wonder about this. Wouldn't he have had a speech writer to come up with original things for him to say? Was the speechwriter the plagarist? An intern just out of Harvard who was in over his head? Or did Biden override his staff and put such second-hand nuggets into his speeches because they sounded good to him? It was pretty amateurish, but how does something like it happen?

My impression is that Biden didn't claim he didn't know he was plagerising. Perhaps that spin would have been even more embarrassing for him.

My guess is Biden has an IQ of about 110, or about 10 points less than Bush, and 20 points less than Gore.
