In all fairness, the Gub helped run the debt up a bit here of late, but the c"rats have had their little mitts in the cookie jar way too much the last few years as well, by FaR..
Will the proposed reforms take root?
we'll see what the voters think in November.
Lordy knows we need to rein in the spenders and cut the access to the public feeding trough,, or pay the piper as we travel down the toll roads of Socialist Utopia.

It's puzzling why Arnie isn't doing anything prior to Nov. 8.
where's the consolidation of the commissions/boards ?
where's the other promised reforms ?
To: TheOracleAtLilac
He will probably put it all on an initiative next year and let the people vote on it.

It would really be interesting to know what he CAN DO without the approval (usually obstruction) of the socialist State Legislature. I don't think there is much. That is a big problem he is facing and why the voter-driven issues are important. In many cases it is the only hope for REAL CALIFORNIANS who want their state back from the socialists.

I hope Arnie's team seizes the opportunity to effectively counter those pathetic anti-Arnold TV ads that are running.
Central casting out did themselves w/ those pitiful characters...
thinking the voters will identify w/ 'em ?
blaming me
WAAAAAH
To: FOG724
I'm sure Arnold's continued deficit spending has nothing to do with those credit ratings.

"He will probably put it all on an initiative next year and let the people vote on it."Are you serious???
Arnold went to the Liberal Think-Tank to get some advice... Touble is... then he got in the tank so deep, he just couldn't get out!!! Worse yet... he took all his supporters with him!!!
Anybody else hear that giant CAGOP tanking sound??? It's gonna end up where Jesse Ventura took the Deform Party!!! (They were co-stars in "Preditor," ya know)

I used to like that movie too but now I can't even watch it. I can't seem to watch any of his movies. Oh well, plenty of other action heros out there.

The unions are succeding in making HIM the issue and he's not helping by blustering at them and running up to the brink of rhetoric... then melting down, REPEATEDLY!!!
He keeps egging them on and they really appreciate it!!! Their own goons couldn't keep their troops this motivated!!! They are delighted with their incredible progress!!! Their cup runneth over and Arnold keeps pouring it on!!!

After much thought, I have decided to support the redistricting initiative. It will probably result in all the b___tards being thrown out of office, and since only a few of them are conservatives, we can't help but come out ahead.
Turn the economy around? Ahhhnold??? With his Sierra Socialist Commune? Not likely.

All the sales tax money flowing into Sacramento from the increase in fuel prices must have the gold-diggers down there doing a all male Circle Ritual...

"Because I have only been around for two years, and I've turned the economy around since I've come into office." I choked on that one too.

After much thought, I have decided to support the redistricting initiative. It will probably result in all the b___tards being thrown out of office, and since only a few of them are conservatives, we can't help but come out ahead. Kind of like a crapshoot, isn't it. I hate the way they wrote this measure; I think it is bad law and there were so many better (and easier) solutions. But I may end up voting for it as well.
To: calcowgirl
"Kind of like a crapshoot, isn't it" That appears to be the essence of it, but a crapshoot is better than a rigged wheel any day.
