Okay, I guess we need a "Guest Worker Program" now that these "workers" have been arrested, so that the pot field owners can hire new guards.
Lets see: "WANTED: Agricultural specialists needed ASAP by cannabis grower in United States National Forest. Must also be skilled in the use of assault rifles, intimidation, etc. US Citizens need not apply."
Do you think I have a future in Want Ad authoring?

But they are only looking for a better life. Give them drivers permits and government aid anything they want. Reach out, don't judge accept all as human beings...NOT

Illegal Mexican workers, willing to come to into the U.S., to grow illegal plants -- that American workers won't grow.

If I'm not mistaken, the current plague of the meth industry is home-grown.
It's easy to be bigoted; it's a sign of a weak mind. Most Mexicans are peasants who're looking for do what's best for their families. If that means parasitizing a weak, neighboring country for welfare benefits, then they will. Beats living in a cardboard box in the Sonora desert.

If that Pulido character is only 19, there must be 24 months in a year in Mexico.

Maybe, but the starter chemicals are smuggled across the border from Mexico. If you think that 5 pill pack of Sudifed at the drugstore was the starter, I have some bridges for sale.

"Most Mexicans are peasants who're looking for do what's best for their families." Yes. And damn the effects on others, the legality of the behavior or the risk to themselves. It is this mentality, along with the overarching corruption that infects every level of Mexican Society that placed them in the hut in Sonora in the first place.

There may have been a time when it was and it may be in some areas, but those areas have zero or very low illegal populations.
