WASHINGTON -- At Cindy Sheehan's side since Aug. 6 when she began her antiwar protest outside President Bush's Texas ranch have been three groups that openly support the Iraqi insurgency against U.S. troops: Code Pink-Women For Peace, United for Peace & Justice, and Veterans For Peace.
Those organizations were represented at a mock "war crimes" trial in Istanbul that on June 27 produced a joint declaration backing the insurgency. Based on the United Nations Charter, it said "the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified. It deserves the support of people everywhere who care for justice and freedom."
The Istanbul statement also rejected U.S. efforts to leave behind a democratic government in Iraq, asserting: "Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority."
CINDY'S FRIEND COLEEN
Minnesota Republican leaders could not stop smiling when they learned that former FBI whistleblower Coleen Rowley, running for Congress as a Democrat, was joining war protester Cindy Sheehan's demonstration.
Republicans were silent but delighted that Rowley would align with extreme antiwar demonstrators backing Sheehan. Rowley became a national hero when she revealed that her warnings about Sept. 11 terrorists were disregarded within the FBI. Since announcing her candidacy against second-term Republican Rep. John Kline, she has become an intense war critic.
Rowley was accompanied to Texas by Democratic State Sen. Becky Lourey, whose son was killed in Iraq. Like Sheehan, Lourey opposed the war before she lost her son.

Yep, and thats exactly why even the highest echeclon moonbat dems avoided her. They knew they would be playing with fire to hitch their wagon to her. The whole party in Crawford had way too much downside from the start.
Now they are all going to piss and moan that Cindy kept the "real issue" (Rove) off the front pages for too long.
I love it that they are too stupid for words to explain.
There it is... :)
No doubt dizzy tizzy will be next.
Hi Wilbur!
lol! :D
There will be another clean up of the Code Pink Web site most likely.
How any person in their mind could hook up with this mentally unbalanced woman is beyond me, but the Democrat Party and MSM are in a bubble that they cannot or will not break out. A reality check is what's needed, or the Democrat Party will slowly whither away.
Cindy, what did Casey write or say about his tour of duty in Iraq? Did Casey say or write anything about occupying or taking over Iraq?
Pingy-ding!
And a report said her daughter was drinking heavily. Seriously.
I have always wondered this too. If Casey was against the war, as the Ditch Witch says, she would have letters he'd written home talking about his time in Iraq. Seems to me, if this was really the case, she would have posted them all over to prove her point. She would not be above using her dead son's letters.
My mission is to get Cindy talking about Casey:
Every instinct I have is to respectfully listen to a grieving mother, I want to hear what she says about her son. What did Casey himself say or do that she wants known?
Cindy, however, has not talked about her son, Casey Sheehan.
She has talked with much cursing and profanity, about her own hatred of President Bush. Did Casey also hate and curse President Bush?
She has talked about her "sincere" "patriotic" belief that our country is not worth fighting for. I know Casey didn't believe this, because one of the few things known about him is that he re-enlisted.
She says the WOT is all about Israel & oil and how she wants to impeach every republican (again lots of cursing). What did Casey say he was fighting for?
She says Casey was "brainwashed", but offers no examples in his own words in letters or e-mails.
Usually I would respect a grieving mother's right to privacy and not intrude with questions, but it is time to question Cindy about Casey.

Lukovich's cartoons are so juvenile and full of wishful thinking, aren't they! Thanks for posting it, as I'd never look for it.
From your keyboard to God's ears!
I'm happy that at least SOMEbody (and Novak's is well-respected) is finally exposing what the deal is with Cindy.
And I'll love watching the show.
They can share their anti-psychotic medication.
HMMMM let send Chia Royal to Texas and lure TEd down there LOL!
Going back to Barbs it is true well I think it be scarier if Nancy Pelosi
I live in Santa Ynez, halfway between Santa Barbara and Vandenberg Airforce Base. It has been pretty interesting watching the local military families confront the hairy legged women like Sheehan and the bald guys with gray pony-tails who march around State Street spewing thier anti-American rhetoric.
