WASHINGTON -- At Cindy Sheehan's side since Aug. 6 when she began her antiwar protest outside President Bush's Texas ranch have been three groups that openly support the Iraqi insurgency against U.S. troops: Code Pink-Women For Peace, United for Peace & Justice, and Veterans For Peace.
Those organizations were represented at a mock "war crimes" trial in Istanbul that on June 27 produced a joint declaration backing the insurgency. Based on the United Nations Charter, it said "the popular national resistance to the occupation is legitimate and justified. It deserves the support of people everywhere who care for justice and freedom."
The Istanbul statement also rejected U.S. efforts to leave behind a democratic government in Iraq, asserting: "Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority."
CINDY'S FRIEND COLEEN
Minnesota Republican leaders could not stop smiling when they learned that former FBI whistleblower Coleen Rowley, running for Congress as a Democrat, was joining war protester Cindy Sheehan's demonstration.
Republicans were silent but delighted that Rowley would align with extreme antiwar demonstrators backing Sheehan. Rowley became a national hero when she revealed that her warnings about Sept. 11 terrorists were disregarded within the FBI. Since announcing her candidacy against second-term Republican Rep. John Kline, she has become an intense war critic.
Rowley was accompanied to Texas by Democratic State Sen. Becky Lourey, whose son was killed in Iraq. Like Sheehan, Lourey opposed the war before she lost her son.

By definition some one that is "antiwar" opposes fighting by both side..these people are not "antiwar" they support and encourage the other side to fight that is not "antiwar"
They are dishonest hypocrites they say "War is not the answer" while encourage the other side to fight...and the very least we are honest on that.... they are not...they use false call for peace as a weapon... they use a mother and her dead son to support they goal's... they are no different that the people that drag dead American soldiers in the street to discourage us...

This woman infuriates me. No she is still with her mother (where ever that is). There's a posting on FreeRepublic that is a letter from her (update). Just do a search. My husband is AF and he told me and his mother, don't even dream of pulling something like that nut case woman. I looked at him with the *as if* look. I would like to see someone confront her on some of the accusations she has made such as, we are building a perm base in Iraqi the size of Sacramento etc.

Cost of Cindy's MBT Sandals: $234.00.
I thought you were joking. Who the heck would pay $235 for a pair of sandals. And then I went and looked them up and got really boggled - who would pay $235 for a pair of sandals with deformed soles so that it simulates a bumpy terrain on flat surfaces and then wear them in the dirt on bumpy uneven surfaces.
Damn these liberals display their intelligence with every moment, don't they?

Only a liberal would pay that kind of money to look uglier and more stupid than they are naturally.

This is the political cartoon in today's Houston Chronicle. The LINK (cartoon) will change daily. For those who see it after it changes, it's a Mike Lukovich drawing of President George Bush whistling as he drives his pickup on his ranch. On the bumper is a ribbon that reads, "Ignore the Moms."

But Cindy don't care, and she's to blame
It's all about her, she thinks she's in luck
Until we all took away her pickup truck

The Democrat Party pulled Cindy Sheehan out of Crawford in a New York minute when they saw her unfavorable poll numbers. She is now reating in some undisclosed black hole, never to emerge again!!! Both the Democrat Party and the MSM took a bad hit on this whole and and traitor/treason episode. That's what happens when you live in a bubble and can't face the "real" world. 2006 is not going to be a banner year for the Democrat Party.
