You had to know this post was gonna bring you flame. I will say this, at least you are being honest. I always wonder how many people offer prayers when things like this happen because it's what they think they are supposed to do, but don't really mean it.
Events like this IMO really test our own senses of decency. As much as some would like to be genuinely sympathetic, they cannot find it within themselves to do it. I find myself in that category sometimes. My solution is to just say nothing and keep my ill thoughts to myself, and pray to see things differently.
It didn't get me flamed that bad, which is good. I wouldn't wish a stroke on the guy, but it's not like I'm going to be writing him a "Get well soon" card either.
