Please tell me how the base commander is responsible for the employee records of contracting firms. What the hell is he supposed to do? Personally check their status himself?

Now that the firms have been caught, the question is why. Did they knowingly hire these people, or were they fooled by forged documents? If they knowingly did it, they should be barred from government contracting FOREVER.

The base commander is probably quite competent. This incident was caused by some meddlesome citizen who was trying to defend his country. It is so clear that the Administration not only does not want to deal with this problem, but is encouraging more and more illegal immigration until they can redefine it as legal and remake the country as part of a new border-less North America.
