C Construction Co. ought not only to lose its lucrative contract for hiring illegals, it should pay $100,000 for each infraction, and the president of the company should be arrested. Maybe we could get a little more serious about hiring illegals after that. And don't tell me that they are doing jobs that MANY Americans wouldn't love to do. It's just that C Construction Co. wasn't paying the workers what they were charging the government in the contract. Somebody in the CBO better look into these Pentagon contracts, pronto.

Here in maryland, they govenment is using taxpayers money to build a 'day laborer' center, where Illegals can gather, so that people who want to hire them (construction mostly) can know where to go and find a bunch.

Their reasoning... currently they gather on street corners and 7-11s and they'd rather they have a 'proper' place for them to gather, instead of in public.

If so, this is all that will be done in the entire State of NC for quite a while. ICE has a total of 10 employees in NC, only one (1) of which is responsible for enforcement. They are completely overwhelmed by the estimated 300,000-350,000 illegals that have swarmed the State. No matter how hard they try, they can only manage to get a few thousand a year deported.
So, I guess the hundreds of illegal aliens flooding the streets in our county are even safer for a bit while ICE moseys around Camp Lejune for weeks fighting taxpayer funded immigration lawyers.
