Democrats could call for the halt to 14 different blends of gasoline. They could roll-back state and federal sales tax on the product. They could call for intensive off-shore drilling & tapping the ANWR.

But they won't... they'll just complain and say it's Bush's fault and the 'simps & suckers will believe'm.

You are exactly right! Multiple blends of gaoline with limited refinery capacity leads to increased prices. The federal government should mandate a single national blend for each grade of gasoline. They could frame the argument as a national security issue. Just my humber opionion.
