What is the current gas tax?

Whatever it is, it hasn't gone up any while gas prices have gone from $1.10 a gallon to $2.60 a gallon.

Still way below inflation. The way I look at it we were grateful for having low gas prices for so long.

Now people will have to deal with the real world.
