interesting about the coloring.. in older pix you prolly have noted bright colors are not usually seen. clothes are dark/plain; smiles absent; tone is subdued. The color almost reminds me of the red jacket in Schindler's List.

The original photograph was a black and white with some color added with colored charcoals. We had to recreate it and decide what color to put on the scarf and flowers. They did a good job on her complexsion, it's amazing what they can do with old photos these days.
