By a great providence, we were sent George Bush. I totally agree. IMHO, having Dubya as Prez right now is another way that God looks after us.
And I, too, wonder and worry about 2008.

Excellent!
The only sad part is that the difference between good and evil has to be explained to people-i.e.- "sawing off someone's head is evil. Getting pure water for children in Mosul is good. Sending Homicide bombers to blow up elementary schools at a Kibbutz is evil. Treating the children of your enemies in the finest hospitals in Israel is good.". There was a time when the majority of people understood the difference between the two automatically. That time is long past unfortunately.
I hope our leaders will spend much more time pointing out the differences between good and evil to our citizens. We have to wake up from our PC induced stupor. It's making us into a nation of emotional cripples, unable to even want to defend ourselves in the face of real danger.
I agree about president Bush. It's crucial that we elect a true leader, with his same qualities, in the next election.
We should start praying now, that the right person will run for election in 08, and that we elect him/her.
Ben Stein does hit the nail on the head. Must-read BUMP.

It's a word I made up. It means actions that indicate you have the inner goodness and bravery of a mensch - a human being.

I've heard good things about him. Hope to hear more. I'll be saying my prayers too, for the right person for the job.

It's a good thing ( for our side ) that the Able Danger story is getting the attention that it justifiably deserves.

Yes indeed! But if you think about it, our side is the default position for such rational and decent people.
