So unlike my immigrant Irish grandfather who lied about his age to join the Army in 1917. (He also never drank green beer or exhibited the least sentimentality about St. Patrick's Day.)
She wanted to be a US citizen, so she could have better health care (or should that be, a better Mental institution).
More then Canada could ever provide, IMHO.
