I believe NY is out of the state at the moment.

That's good news. I know he was in Maine recently, Indiana too...and had gone down into the Milwaukee region for a quick day trip...I think he was heading back out to Maine again for a wedding? Hope so.

Thanks for the update!

That's not a very good sign.

TBV, while that should miss your sister south, it won't be by much. Besides the tornado, there's a heap of hail around.

They are in the basement with as many of the animals as they could get in. They are hearing large hail outside.

My wife has to drive home from Hwy 31 & Hwy 11 in Racine in about 10 minutes. Will cross over Hwy 20 on her way back to Milwaukee. Watching the storm on Channel 4 and praying for safety!

No reports of any damage there that I have heard of. It sounds like most of the action was just to the east of Fitchburg. It sounds like there was another funnel cloud photographed near Lodi, but that one may have stayed aloft.

Keep her south for about the next 20 minutes. It's roaring a bit north of Highway 20, and it crossed I-94 a couple minutes ago.

Some semi-good news is that WTMJ's John Malan is saying the storm in Racine County has weakened a bit, with no shear markers the last 15 minutes. Hail is still a serious possibility.
