This prosecutor has decided she'll take advantage of the audience as well.

My comment, about BTK mocking justice, was meant to be taken as a slap at any so-called "justice" system that stops short of capital punishment.

I just saw this. A totally, "I'd like to think this person and this person" kind of sentancing! Talk about sick!

CNN should have given the same type of coverage to the Dec 2000 killings and let the world see the 2 pieces of excrement who rape, terrorized, and killed 7 good people in Wichita back then.
I have avoided much of this BTK coverage because it reminds me of that other incident, which will sicken and haunt me forever. Yet I live nowhere near KS. I don't think I would have known about the "Wichita horror" killings and the trial of the killers had it not been for the web.
Why not life per victim?

The judge is sitting there wondering how all his life's work has led him to presiding over a three ring circus.
He gave himself the name "BTK" Killed an elderly neighbor of his too, which he admitted was bad serial killer form. We can all say he should be tortured etc, but none of us mean it. We've become way too passive. I'm not saying it's good to have mobs murder criminals but I at least think the police ought to have to keep some crowds out of the courtroom. People should care on a much deeper level when innocent members of their own community are slaughtered. And BTW, isn't BTK about the best argument for keeping the death penalty?
