I'm sure I would have found the braying of this kid extremely irritating but life is full of irritations and annoyances. Dealing with them with tolerance and grace is character building.
Kicking the disabled kid and his family out of a movie that was brightening his life, is a far greater tragedy than being annoyed.

Not when I paid $8.50 a ticket. If the parents cannot control their kid, they can buy the DVD and view it at home.

You hit the nail right on the head! I think of these things every time I see a handicapped child knowing that I have a beautiful son at home. There but for the Grace of God.....we have far less to deal with than these people. Perhaps the theater should have offered a private screening. How hard is it to be kind? Think of the good pub they would have received.

If this happens to me I'll come to you for complete reimbursment of my ticket price and you get the built up character. OK?
