Let me guess which type organizations are using this as their recruiting propaganda now.

If you're implying that I am with some wingnut extremist group, you couldn't be more wrong.

I'm just sharing what I see happening. Why not just admit that you probably see the same thing that I'm seeing but your government-installed PC-meter is set to "overly sensitive?"

By reading your bio page, I see that you are a "loyal Republican and Bush supporter."

I guess that says a lot about your lukewarm view of illegal immigration.

A Republican, a Democrat and a Buchananite are traveling in the countryside. Weary, they stop at a small country inn. "I only have two rooms, so one of you will have to sleep in the barn," the innkeeper says.

The Republican volunteers to sleep in the barn, goes outside, and the others go to bed. In a short time they're awakened by a knock. It's the Republican, who says, "There's a cow in that barn. I'm a Hindu, and it would offend my beliefs to sleep next to a sacred animal." The Democrat says that, OK, he'll sleep in the barn.

The others go back to bed, but soon are awakened by another knock. It's the Democrat who says, "There's a pig in that barn. I'm Jewish, and cannot sleep next to an unclean animal."

So the Buchananite is sent to the barn. It's getting late, the others are very tired and soon fall asleep. But they're awakened by an even louder knocking. They open the door and are surprised by what they see: It's the cow and the pig!

Blue collar foreign laborers create white collar jobs. If they come they will build it.

And soon own it...all.

The following is the first paragraph of Lamm's revised speech which he, himself, submitted. He's admitting that he hates America and would like to see it destroyed. I would hardly call him a Zell Miller Democrat.

I HAVE A SECRET PLAN TO DESTROY AMERICA. IF YOU BELIEVE, AS MANY DO, THAT AMERICA IS TOO SMUG, TOO WHITE BREAD, TOO SELF-SATISFIED, TOO RICH, LETS DESTROY AMERICA. IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO DO. HISTORY SHOWS THAT NATIONS ARE MORE FRAGILE THAN THEIR CITIZENS THINK. NO NATION IN HISTORY HAS SURVIVED THE RAVAGES OF TIME. ARNOLD TOYNBEE OBSERVED THAT ALL GREAT CIVILIZATIONS RISE AND THEY ALL FALL, AND THAT "AN AUTOPSY OF HISTORY WOULD SHOW THAT ALL GREAT NATIONS COMMIT SUICIDE."

Speaking of Lamm, you said:

This is an "old school" democrat. A Harry Truman, Zell Miller type. Too bad there are so few of them.

But I don't think Zell or Harry ever believed "old people have a duty to die." (paraphrased)

I'm sure most Coloradoans remember that famous line?

Well .. maybe people in Colorado do .. BUT I NEVER HEARD THEM .. or of him .. and besides, I wasn't commenting on that statement, I was commenting on his analysis of multiculturism. I thought it was a good analysis and something people needed to read about.

If you wish to hold a grudge against him for his statement - be my guest.

We lived under him as our governor.

I don't hold a grudge against him but thought you'd like to see that his rhetoric is a bit bizaare at times.
