I like how these morons always say the US supplied weapons to the Iraqis. They fly Migs and French mirage fighters, use AK 47's and had soviet tanks, yet it's Bush'es fault!!

This is a common urban myth that the US supplied weapons to Saddam. My (admittedly shallow) look into the subject shows that we sold them some trucks and allowed them access to satelite data. This is a far cry from all these weapons that we supposedly supplied, let alone that they were French, Russian, and Chinese.
Are there any good FReepers out there with more information on the subject? What exactly did the US supply Saddam?
