Hitchens is awesome! Unlike most of his armchair liberal MSM colleagues, he has been to Iraq and also to Iran. He has met people who were tortured by Saddam Hussein and whose family members disappeared. He understands the threat of Islaofascism and has called it by that name, which nobody else has the guts to do. His articles in Vanity Fair are the only reason I still subscribe to that magazine.
I have a love hate relationship with Hitchens. He articularilly rebuked Fahrenheit 9/11, but he is very anti-Christian and wrote a hatchet job on Mother Theresa.
