Paul Williams, author of "Osama's Revenge" and a new book, "The Al Qaeda Connection," has stirred a national controversy with his reporting on the imminent nuclear terror threat posed by Osama bin Laden. In this exclusive dispatch, first published in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, he reveals the connections between Pakistan's nuclear mastermind and Osama bin Laden's plans for an "American Hiroshima."

From Khalid Mohammad's laptop, CIA officials uncovered details of al-Qaida's plan to create a series of "nuclear hell storms" throughout the United States.
Still, the interrogations of the Pakistani scientists, coupled with findings from Dr. Mahmood's office for "charitable affairs" in Kabul, verified for the CIA that al-Qaida had produced several nuclear weapons from highly enriched uranium and plutonium pellets the size of silver dollars at Khan's facilities. At least one of these weapons was transported to Karachi where it was shipped to the United States in a cargo container.
Wow.

If OBL had nukes he would have used them by now. They're not just something you can hide somewhere and forget about. They require regular maintenance or they won't go boom.
To: elmer fudd
Not really, if they don't use tritium you can store them for quite a while. None of our SADM's or MADM's used it.

Dirty bomb is more likely, since all its requires is conventional explosives and ratioactive material.

LOL, confirmation of who you were alluding to. YOU said that Farah and the tancredo supporters want a nuclear attack, not me. I merely highlighted what you said. You made your bed, now lay in it

What he doesn't already know won't hurt him to find out later...like post mortem later. Besides, who knows (besides AQK, I guess) what kind of device this is about? Give him him 'good' advice like changing the 'batteries' often...or telling him it only works when inserted rectally.

I feel it's more about exposing the criminal acts of perp Khan, rather than discrediting Bush. You are right about about the retread of old news.
News about Dr. Khan's involvement with al-Qaida and the American Hiroshima plan first emerged with the capture of several al-Qaida operatives in Afghanistan in October 2001

yup , way back when , I had a "brainiac" friend explain nukes as such ,... "they're like racing cars that are always idling, you can't shut them off for more than a few minutes , to perform maintenance , they're either ready and idling or broken."

I feel it's more about exposing the criminal acts of perp Khan, rather than discrediting Bush. So how would this story tend to discredit Bush?
Yelling about Tancredo being a moonbat and people nervous about loose nukes being Bush-haters doesn't do much to clarify the bigger picture. Either Arnaud de Borchgrave and The Nation got their stories straight or they didn't. Either way,
CAN WE AFFORD NOT TO FOLLOW THIS UP?
Everyone knows Bush had to tackle this subject on short notice and inadequate info thanks to the "Chinese wall" Jamie Gorelick and Janet Reno built to protect Slick's high treason, and that he's basically trying to be nice to all those hundreds of millions of Moslems by trying just to pick off the bad ones who are swimming in their Maoist sea of sympathetic civilians. I mean, it'd be nice to fix this security problem without erasing 400,000,000 people, but that's what's liable to happen if we suddenly lose about 2.5 million of our own in a nuclear attack. That would tend to make us more than a little unreasonable.
But why do these guys think they have to rush to Bush's defense? How does Bush become the object of some sort of polemical attack, because Al Q'aeda thugs are trying to manufacture nuclear weapons?
Oh, and by the way -- thanks, India, for enabling this little Islamic Strangelove by building a bomb of your own.
To: COEXERJ145
Farah as well as other Bush haters so badly want a nuclear attack on this country. That's an odious accusation I wouldn't even make against Hitlery. You really ought to think about it before you post up something like that.
To: Straight Vermonter
Khan remains a free and honored citizen of Pakistan, where neither U.S. military officials nor CIA agents can obtain the right to approach or question him. If I were Bush, I wouldn't respect this. Khan dies on the end of a Ka-Bar, and all his scummy, mobbed-up, crypto-jihadi engineers and adepts with him, for spreading nuclear terror around the world.
Die, scum.
