Perhaps. Or maybe they live by the adage "keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
That is a pipe dream. I have never seen the tables turn on the close enemy in the camp. The guy stole from the White House, upstaged the first inaugration, damaged computers, and on and on and I don't recall any action by the Republicans or Bush. We will never see any action--and if there are even hearings they will be a farse and a chance for each to grandstand but it will go no where--the same place all of the other scandals have ended up. Sadly, I do believe both parties are in bed together and cover for each other because none of them are clean.
