#15 - Are you sure that map wasn't printed in 2005?
MORE THAN half of Mexico is here already: in Los Angeles!!!
I we could get all of the 54 % of the Mexican Population who does not want to come to the United States to go to Guatemala instead, Annexation would be great.
At the rate they're going, they'll make it.
Bush has not closed the borders.
Nor has any president for the past 150 years.
Invasion USA.
LOL. Like I said . . .
LOL ;)
More than half of Mexico is here already ILLEGALLY
Hey! What about the Hidalgo-Guadolupe treaty? Or the Gadsden purchase? I don't know much 'bout history, but I remember those two terms and this is the perfect time to throw 'em around like I know what they mean.
Nor has any president for the past 150 years.
Eisenhower didn't need to, he just enforced the laws in the interior and that stopped illegal immigration cold for several years.
You might want to read this article. Those of us who live in heavily affected states understand the risks. This is why Bush will have to come around to Tancredo's views sooner rather than later. The continued viability of the Republican Party depends on its seizing the initiative from the Democrats on this issue.
I'm not sure about this but I thought Truman deported a lot of illegal immigrants too. Of course he also allowed many to immigrate from Mexico legally to work in the war industry.
And make them part of our welfare system? And Social Security System? They'd be getting a heck of a lot of benefits that they have not contributed into. And that WE have.
Truman I'm not sure about though it's possible. Roosevelt also deported a large number of illegals, at least a couple of million during the depression.
Come on in...LEGALLY AND Learn ENGLISH as a FIRST language AND Become American Citizens LEGALLY!
Those maps are mighty bad...
Twenty years ago my Dad proposed annexing Baja. A lot of Mexican people live near middle class in Baja because of
American Tourism.
I know American people that live there full time, and that keep a boat at Ensenada for Fishing. Another near La Paz. Other friends take surfing safaris down the coast.
With the talk of western Canadian provinces breaking off, joining the US.....NAFTA may be a step along a pathway?
But what YOU don't understand, is that this has been a very big problem for almost 100 years. Blaming it all on President Bush who isn't going to run for the presidency again, is just stupid.
