Clinton CD on way

Bill Clinton / Reuters
YOU'VE read the book and you've seen the interviews but if you were thinking that there is no more juice to be squeezed out of the Bill Clinton experience, think again.
The former president is producing a CD, The Bill Clinton Collection: Selections from the Clinton Music Room. The 11-track compilation goes on sale next month.
Mr Clinton is so taken with the album that he is reported to have been blasting it through the open windows of his people-carrier as he drives. The William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation, which usually seeks to present itself as a focal point in the worldwide battle against HIV-AIDS, has been working quietly for months to acquire licensing rights to his top songs.
The CD does not feature Mr Clinton performing on his beloved saxophone. Instead, he has personally selected jazz and gospel tracks, including My Funny Valentine by Miles Davis and The Town I Loved So Well by Phil Coulter.
The CD is being produced for the Clinton Museum Store near the Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas, which has adopted a sharply commercial strategy since opening nine months ago. Revenue has reached $2.35 million, which, with the proceeds of the CD, will go to fund Mr Clinton's work on HIV-AIDS, economic empowerment, leadership development and ethnic or religious reconciliation.
Connie Fails, who runs the store, said Mr Clinton had telephoned her after hearing a demo tape to insist that it had the wrong version of Chelsea Morning. The album now includes his favourite version of the song, after which his daughter, Chelsea, was named.
Visitors to the Clinton Presidential Library can see a reproduction of the White House music room, where he was able to pursue one of his ways of relieving the pressure of office: playing the saxophone.
The exhibit includes samples from his eclectic CD collection, a video of him playing in the Arkansas All-State Band as a teenager and some of the instruments presented to him during his eight years in power.

Andrew Sullivan had a contest to name Clintoon's memoirs.
Among the honorable mentions: "Camealot" and "Blown Away."
The winner: "Is."

Title should be Bonin' the Intern Volume One.

The Rolling Stones have the perfect Bill Clinton anthem:
"I'm So Hot for Her"
Actually, the official title of the song is "She's So Cold" -- not a problem for Monica, but certainly may apply to some of Bill Clinton's less 'willing' conquests:
--------------------------------------------------
I'm so hot for her, I'm so hot for her I'm so hot for her and she's so cold I'm so hot for her, I'm on fire for her I'm so hot for her and she's so cold I'm the burning bush, I'm the burning fire I'm the bleeding volcano I'm so hot for her, I'm so hot for her I'm so hot for her and she's so cold Yeah, I tried re-wiring her, tried re-firing her I think her engine is permanently stalled She's so cold she's so cold She's so cold cold cold Like a tombstone She's so cold, she's so cold she's so cold cold cold like an ice cream cone She's so cold she's so cold I dare not touch her my hand just froze Yeah, I'm so hot for hot for her, I'm so hot for her I'm so hot for her and even so Put your hand on the heat, put your hand on the heat Aw C'mon baby, let's go She's so cold, she's so cold, cold, she's so c-c-c-old But she's beautiful, though Yeah, she's so cold She's so cold, she's so cold She was born in an arctic zone She's so cold she's so cold, cold, cold I dare not touch her my hand just froze She's so cold, she's so goddamn cold she's so Cold cold cold she's so cold Who would believe you were a beauty indeed When the days get shorter and the nights get long Lie awake when the rain comes Nobody will know, when you're old When you're old, nobody will know that you was a beauty, a sweet sweet beauty A sweet sweet beauty, but stone stone cold You're so cold, you're so cold, cold, cold You're so cold, you're so cold I'm so hot for you, i'm so hot for you I'm so hot for you and you're so cold I'm the burning bush, I'm the burning fire I'm the bleeding volcano
