It has to do with the fact that peoples with agendas go into education because they have learned the lesson that the Jesuits learn long ago, that if one has control of the youth, especially the best and brightest among the youth, then one can control public opinion. Even people who hated the public schools somehow accept the agenda of the educational establishment.

Very true, RobbyS. Two other facts related to that: first, the lawyers arguing Brown v. Board of Education argued for integration to begin in the schools. I was entirely in favor of that, but it became extreme with the busing orders and many other excesses that, IMHO, led to the overpowerful courts we have today. (Roe followed Brown by a few years and it was all downhill from there).

Secondly, persons who wish to abuse children sexually gravitate to jobs that throw them into contact with children. It's sad, it's sick, but it's a fact. That's why parents have to be very vigilant and not take anyone who has contact with their children for granted.
