That is so wrong. Why do you have such a low opinion of us freepers? I'm sure you are upset about this situation so perhaps we should cut you some slack but to accuse us of only caring about rich people is simply wrong.

Just saw a taped local news report from earlier this evening--Mr. Westfall apparently lives on the family cattle farm, 300+ acres. He also flies a plane around the property, according to a neighbor, who if I heard correctly, described the family as "odd"... reporter said police did a cursory look-around on the farm the other night but have yet to execute a search warrant.
It seems like the effort to find her is moving dreadfully slow.

A cursory search? Hopefully, they are just keeping info close to the vest. I can't believe that they won't search the place, thouroughly!

There are an awful lot of places to hide a body on a 300 acre farm. I hope LEA out there have enough smarts to do a shoulder-to-shoulder search of the farm. I'm sure many people will volunteer to come out and help.
Praying tonight for Amanda's family. They must be in agony.
I tell you what, Bryan's older brother used to be a state trooper. I don't know if that would cause law enforcement to treat the situation with kid gloves but I just wonder.
There are a lot of places to hide a body out here in general, in addition to the farm. I know there are many, many people who would gladly help search but LE called off the searching yesterday. I'm shaking my head.
That's really interesting...maybe explains a lot of things! It makes no sense that this lady would just up and disappear. Her purse, phone and keys are missing. Doesn't sound like she was snatched out of her car. Sounds like she perhaps left her car and got into another...to go out to dinner, perhaps? The guy has GOT to be a suspect, or person of interest. But his brothers connections may explain the kid glove treatment.

I've checked over the local news this morning and nothing new. There's supposed to be a 9am (central) presser but it's routine, LE has them set for 9a and 3p daily. Will update later...

Apparently nothing happening in the search for Amanda. I can't believe NO ONE saw anything. :(
In a press conference Thursday morning, Boyer said police had intensified the search for Jones overnight Wednesday searching the property near and adjacent to the Civic Center on foot, using canine units and from the air, but had found no clues.
“We have no physical evidence, nor do we have any statements from anyone to indicate that a crime has been committed,” Boyer said.
