"Well I know any time I open any time of bank account, I need to sign a waiver saying that the ept of homeland security will have access to information about the account under the patriot act, etc." That must be your bank, as I've never had to sign a waiver saying that and I've opened 4 bank accounts since the PA was implemented. I've had to sign the same notice on the three account I have opened since. One was even a small, local bank.
Just out of curiosity, which 4 banks didn't give you this notice, because I have to run across a single one that doesnt.
