Forgot to add, I am a Grandma and while I was much more tolerant when I was younger, I belive that our tolenence gave the gay agenda time to grow and rear it's TRUE ugly face.

True it might be. I'm not saying that its wrong or right . That is each persons opinion. I'm just saying its not only homosexuals have anonymous sex or multiple sex partners. Its also heterosexuals doing it as well. The other poster was saying that its only gays who participate in this when there are many straight people as well in this kind of lifestyle.

What I find a constant with the homo-advocates is how they mix adult interaction with interaction with children.
An adult teacher interacting with children is NOT in the same category as an adult business customer interacting with a business owner.
Children are not just short adults, they are developing minds. Minds which can be influence by the smallest nuance of their environment because they are developing.
It defies logic that anyone would think a child's exposure to an open homosexual's sexual choice would NOT have some kind of negative impact upon a developing mind.

You sound offended. I homeschool for the reason, I don't want homosexuality taught to my children.
I teach my children morals and I have a religious bases for the teachings. But, I do not attempt to bring these values, or teachings to a "public school" and demand that everyone except them, or they are some kind of a homophobes, or racist bigot like the gays attempt to do.
I believe that your real problem is, I believe that being gay, or homosexual is a chosen lifestyle, and you do not.

Yet Dr. Spitzer changed his mind based on the study. He completely reversed his position that gays can go straight from the very study you've stated is useless. IMO, that says you don't think much about Dr. Spitzer and his criteria for studies. Studies that have had a huge impact on his life.

"Seems to me that being "openly gay" would bring their private life to class....."
I guess it's open to interpretation. I think there's a difference between knowing someone is gay and that person wearing it on his/her sleeve. And simply knowing doesn't mean it has to be discussed in class.
The question, I suppose, is how the information became known. In other words, just how "open" are we talkin' about here? When I was in H.S., I had two gay teachers (that I know of). Exactly how I knew they were gay, I don't remember. But I don't recall either ever discussing their private lives in class. So simply "knowing" didn't make their private lives an issue.

My view is that these "homosexually curing therapies" don't actually cure anyone of homosexuality. It probably isn't a 'cure' any more than treatment for addiction is a 'cure'. We are all born with tendencies toward some sins more than others. If an individual has a weakness in a particular area, they are always going to have to be on guard against it. (As scripture says, flee temptation.)

Homosexuals are defined by their sex act. They may not discuss it but their very lifestyle choice is a sex act. Not for exposure to children like any other sexual material.

My high school driver's education teacher was pretty well known to be a lesbian. It really wasn't an issue.
AFAICT, I wouldn't be uncomfortable with a known gay teacher either, as long as it didn't become part of his curriculum.

Are you unable to read?
Certainly Swing and sex clubs exist for heteros, but as a portion of the population that engage in those activities are an overwhelming minority, maybe 1/10 to 1/100th of a percent. In the homsexual "lifestyle" its not a handful of them engaging in such acts... in fact its a VERY VERY large percentage that do.
The cops don't have to patrol the parks at night because heteros are using them EVERY night for anonymous group sex hangouts... State Patrols aren't having to patrol rest areas along highways and interstates because heteros are using them as places to have anonymous group sex activities night after night... you are beyond naive, or just flat out ignorant, or blind if you think the activities in the gay "lifestyle" are equivalent in the hetero.
I love it the way PC and activists assume because I see the truth and don't buy the BS that I don't know any homosexuals...nothing could be further from the truth.. it is because I do know homosexuals, and do have relationships with many of them that I do know exactly the sorts of things that go on. I see it first hand, and its not the rediculous "oh they are just like everyone else" that the PC and Activists want to believe.
There is no doubt that some gays don't engage in the anonymous group sex activities.... but the idea that those that do are just a small minority in that community is a joke! I don't see heteros having "bug chaising" parties.. Fact is, the members of this "community" are by and large mentally disturbed individuals, engaging routinely in self destructive behavior, and wish nothing more than to "normalize" their activities.
The fact is, we are more than our base urges, we are reasonable and thinking beings... the idea that if you have an urge you can and should act on it, and you have no higher capacity than a beast of the field is utter hogwash. Homosexuality is not a "lifestyle" its a self destructive activity engaged in by and large by folks with some serious serious problems.

The plain truth is that there has long been a national campaign to transform the atmosphere of the nation's schools. The book "Who's in a Family?" is a small part of that campaign.
The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has been busy for 10 years offering help to those educators who want to create what is called a "more affirming" environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students.
Up until now, much of the organization's efforts have gone to creating gay student groups at hundreds of high schools and passing laws or regulations that limit
or eliminate harassment aimed at homosexuals. GLSEN reports that 70 or so Colorado high schools have gay student clubs (usually called gay-straight alliances). The organization has also used part of its $4.3 million budget to promote a reading list for students as young as those in kindergarten.
"Who's in a Family?" is one of the books on the GLSEN list, as are "Heather has Two Mommies," "Daddy's Roommate" and "Going to Fair Day." As students move up in age, they are invited to read "Love Makes a Family," "Is it a Choice?" and similar tomes.
At the high school level, some of this indoctrination might be excused on the grounds that students are old enough to make personal choices and maybe some of them can define terms like "sexuality" and "gender."
No such excuse can be made for this kind of social indoctrination at the elementary level.
The very idea that GLSEN and other groups are busy offering "educational resources" or training programs to elementary school teachers in order to create a more "affirming environment" for gay students is appalling.
The good news is that Colorado passed a state law last year that prohibits giving continuing education credits to teachers for attending the kind of workshops GLSEN offers. In this state, such learning credits must be "content-related," and most of what GLSEN offers clearly isn't.

It would certainly make life more interesting if we were all defined by our favorite sex act...I see the opportunity for some interesting nicknames.

Were you as supportive of him when he lead the fight to reclassify homosexual behavior as non-deviant (a view I'm sure he still maintains) or is he now your hero because he has concocted a study that supports your viewpoint? Were you as against Dr. Spitzer's methods when he lead the fight to reclassify homosexual behavior as non-deviant as you are now, with this latest study?

What the hell is the "homosexual agenda" anyways? It's not any one thing, but you can get a pretty good idea what it's all about by reading excerpts from a book by Kirk and Madsen The Homosexual Propaganda and Media Manipulation Game...
Or read their own words.
For more information than you've ever wanted, check my profile.
I'm much more interested in the tens of thousands of ex-gays and getting their story out.

Yet it persuaded Dr. Spitzer. Something tells me there is more to the study than what we see from the outside, and that something is what completely changed his mind.

Homosexuality is abnormal and can not be discussed into normality... A fact, not an opinion. Normal= of the norm. Bizarre sexual practices of less than 2% of the population can never be considered the norm.
