"But, perhaps you can show me where the President of the United States has a Constitutional duty to protect Israel?"

That's not even the issue. He does have a moral obligation, speaking on behalf of the majority who voted for him, not to strongarm and coerce a longtime ally into a situation that will seriously compromise, if not endanger, their longterm security.

The problem isn't that the CINC has a Constitutional duty to protect Israel, but moreso that America has now outwardly become AGGRESSIVE toward Israel!

This is truly an historic, albiet horrific event. Like I said in a previously post, as a nation we should have at minimum taken a passive stance and issued a statement of condemnation for the pullout from Gaza.

But instead of being passive and simply making a statement, this nation has assisted in aggression towards Israelis!

Lets see now....all you historians out there. What's happened to every nation on this planet (since Israel has become a nation) who have aggressed Israel?

Yeah...we all KNOW the answer. It's a BAD place to be!
