Did this guy murder babies? There was a palestinian infant killed a couple of weeks ago. A mortar shell fell short. If the Jews weren't in Israel, the palestinians wouldn't have to fire mortars at them. Israel's fault.

No. We're talking hypotheticals here. Hypothetically speaking, if the idea of a "Palestinian innocent" is an impossibility, does this hypothetically mean a PO'ed settler deciding to bury a slug in a Palestinian newborn's skull is morally just?
