Jewish Settler opens fire on Palestinians in the West Bank: Fox News Breaking Story
I think you are right. If it works, and the PA takes over and cleans up, fine. If it doesn't, hard line is A-OK, and no one will be saying "you didn't try". That's why physically getting people out is the hardest part, but I think he is doing what he has to do.
Alouette: Yes there are. They are called "collaborators."
And are promptly shot by other Muslims.
It was begat by the palesites...
Let's see what an investigation turns up. Hamas members? Could be.
Why not ask the palesimians if they consider Jewish, Christian, or Hindu infants as innocent?
An excellent point.
Ideologically, TROP adherents are merely nazis in filthy nightshirts. Their concept of Dar al Islam is right out of the nazi playbook..
Maybe, but...
Jewish Man Kills Three Arab Workers in Shomron
18:37 Aug 17, '05 / 12 Av 5765
By Ezra HaLevi and Yehudit Halfon
A Binyamin area resident opened fire upon Arab workers at the entrance to the Shilo industrial zone Wednesday afternoon, killing three of them.
The shooter, Asher Weisgan, transported the Arabs to and from work every day. They were in his car after the days work when he stopped at the guard hutch as he does every day to get their ID cards upon leaving the industrial area. When he returned to the car, he pulled out his gun and shot at the Arabs in his car without any warning or apparent reason. Leaving them there next to the guard hutch, he apparently returned by foot to the industrial area and shot another Arab worker in the factory.
There are three dead and two injured, who were taken to a Jerusalem hospital by Shilos ambulance.
Reports of Weisgan threatening the guard in order to take his gun are incorrect. The man had his own gun in his possession. The reason for the attack is not yet known.
Police, army and local community security forces are wary of possible violent Arab reactions to the shooting. Precautions are being taken to safeguard the residents of the Jewish communities.

Their behavior is more simian than Semite..
A stale bagel is a potentially lethal weapon!
As the reason for the attack is not yet known, I will wait and see.
Yep. The shooter may have known a lot more than most are giving hm credit for now.
I believe the victims in the earlier attack you refer to were Israeli Arabs.
Calling them Palestineans (or not) opens up a can o'worms either way.
Proves my point, doesn't it.Not in the least. You made a specific accusation: anti-semitism. GF only posted stuff critical of Israel (that I saw). There is a difference.

That international agreement (A.K.A. ceasefire) was BROKEN long ago by Hamas! The territories were taken by act of war...a war who's sole purpose was to drive the Jews into the seaLeaving aside the fact that Hamas was never party to any cease-fire with Israel (and is therefore fair game for any and all IDF attacks), I am referring to the 1949 Geneva Convention, which forbids occupying powers from settling their civilians in occupied territories.

You mean the ones he has invited to join his government? The "political arm" of Hamas? He invited them to join his government. He didn't volunteer to join theirs. He's trying to bring them into the peace process.
-Eric
How does this fit in with the road map obligation to dismantle terrorist groups?
You can't claim that Kach is extremist and must be banned for all time and at the same time claim that Hamas can be "tamed" just by inviting them to join the PA government without any recognizable change in their philosophy or behavior.
Hamas has murdered a thousand times more people in the past 4 years than Kach since the beginning of its existence, and they are eagerly proclaiming they can't wait to kill more people, but you think that they can be invited to join the government and they will change?
FreeRepublic's resident Islamic barbarism directed at Israel supporter, can claim anything he wants.
I agree with you, of course there is a difference between criticizing Israel and being an anti-semite. Theoretically.
My experience has been that the majority of people I've had this debate with have ended up spitting out some pretty harsh jew-bashing rhetoric, real ugly stuff, and it was not simply criticism of Israel--that may have been where the debate began, but 9 times out of 10 the debate degenerates into things like "Israeli secret intelligence pulled off 9/11", "Israelies shot down TWA 800", "Israel was behind the first twin towers bombing," then they forget to say Israelis and say things like "the Jews bombed the US Embassies in Africa", "the Jews brought AIDS onto the North American continent", and the final conversation stopper "The Jews killed Jesus". And its funny, I hear one that from Muslims I've debated more than any other group--as if all of a sudden they revere the Savior. That has been my experience. I'm not saying all critics of Israel are like those I have had these unpleasant debates with--I just haven't had the good fortune to meet very many critics of Israel who weren't also Jew haters (some are even Jewish--self hating obviously).
My last point, Eric, is about GF. If all GF did was post stuff critical of Israel, as you claim, than why is he gone from FR?
