Or how about the jobs that I have been fully qualified to do, BUT I don't speak Spanish. So therefore, I don't qualify. Many jobs out there now require that you speak Spanish. It's maddening. I refuse to go to a college and pay to learn to speak Spanish. Therefore, I am a lady of leisure. I give up. Because the employers in my field of expertise are hiring non-English speaking employees, so as a Supervisor, I must speak Spanish. What a bunch of crap.
And this translates into "they are now taking jobs we CAN'T do". IOW's, being bilingual in this country is now an asset.
Well, our President can speak Spanish...I recall the days I was proud of him for that...foolish me.
