Just wanted to let Freepers know that Larry Northern, the man that knocked down the crosses outside the Bush ranch, is a Purple Heart winner from Vietnam. He was wounded by shrapnel that hit his juglar vein. I think maybe he had enough of Shean. She brings back the worst of how our soldiers were treated after Vietnam.

If you did, so did I. I searched diligently and found nothing that confirms that the guy is a vet. I apologize for misleading you.

It was an awful experience, slogging through 14 Google pages of liberal blogs in my search for proof but I had to do it. The fact that I didn't find any conservative blogs in 14 pages of searches is pretty damned scary. Actually, I think there was one, something from teen conservatives, But I could be mistaken again.

The letter from the guy claiming to be a retired soldier decrying Northern's actions that was posted here is on every liberal blog in cyberspace. My favorite place to see it was on Jerry Springer's website, but it was prominently displayed on the DNC's page. Nowhere did I find proof of this guys claim, either, but I was beginning to get nauseous so I may have missed it.

I would like to ask you about the last part of my advice to search Google. Did you find anything you believed?

Here is a link to the Waco Tribune Paper that has an article, if you can believe anything the media print these days...Hopefully they got this fact right--It states he is a Purple Heart Recipient.

I notice that Democrat.com has profiled the Northern family and deemed Ms. Northern as " some sort of fundamentalist christian extremist." She's not one of those.

Larry in Vietnam in active combat. Whatever lack of respect he showed was surely directed at the leftist lunatic fringe rather than the current crop of people in the military.
