Did they behead any Marines after those pictures were taken?

I'm sitting in my office in Akasaka. It wasn't bad here, but it did seem to go on and on. What are you hearing, if anything?

Nice to encounter a sense of humour!

"Did they behead any Marines after those pictures were taken?" From the looks of those in the photos some may be hoping for a rerun of 1941.

Well, I was just wondering how the force from an earthquake dissipated with distance. If it is like many other forces, it would be 1/4 the force every time the distance from the epicenter doubled. If the above is true, it would be maybe 6 times greater at 13 miles verses the initial report of 34 miles. A very significant difference...
I often laugh at myself... :-)

Passengers crowd at Tokyo Station's Shinkansen, or bullet train, ticket barrier in Tokyo Tuesday, Aug. 16th, 2005 shortly after a magnitude-6.8 earthquake hit the northern Japanese region of Tohoku, shaking buildings as far away as Tokyo and halting the train service. A caved-in roof of an indoor swimming pool collapsed in the coastal city of Sendai, more than 300 kilometers (186 miles) northeast of Tokyo, injuring 14 people. (AP Photo/Kyodo News)

The Japanese may get their wish, but their foes will have slanted eyes just like them.
