Because they want Bush, and America, to fail. They want us to fail so they will look oh, so wonderful to the average voter. You think the MSM doesn't want voters? Think again, they are part and parcel of the DNC, tied together like siamese twins. Trashing the US and the republicans means votes to them, they think.
I don't think it will work this time, mainly because of the internet, but of course you can never really tell what people will do.

Not only that, but the Iraqi people are getting more and more involved in seeking these guys out and turning them in.
Found out another interesting tidbit today. You know the catch and release thing everyone has been moaning about? Turns out the Iraqis are taking fingerprints and other biometrics and putting them in a database so if they don't have the goods on the guy when they arrest him, finding his fingerprints on IEDs etc. will provide identification and positive proof for the courts next time the guy is brought in.
