Okay, folks. There's a poll on the Olympian about how you plan to vote on I-912, the repeal of the recent gas tax in Washington State. But the Olympian will not allow its material to appear on Free Republic (which ought to tell you something right there), so FR will not let me provide the source URL above. I will refrain from posting their text as well. But... so you know:
There's a poll over at The Olympian just waiting for some FReepers.
About 1/3 down the page, on the lefthand side.
I'm not going to tell you how to respond. Vote your conscience, your wallet, your anger, your concern or whatever will direct your vote on the initiative to repeal the gas tax.
No, no. They LIKE taxes out there !! </sarcasm>
66% plan to vote to repeal with ~2200 votes (could have been more votes I should have paid more attention.)
66% say yes......... so far
My conscience told me to vote to tell the 'rats (and RINO's) to shove their taxes up their axis......
Yeah, I'm sure they'd like to think that getting all those signatures in 30 days was just a fluke.
Hehe, 66% vote to repeal. Think the communists in Olympia and Seattle will get the point that the rest of us aren't exactly happy to pay for THEIR road issues?
66.9%...
# of votes: 2938
Thanks. Freeped just now, but all I got was:
With oil prices soaring, do you plan to vote to repeal the gas tax the state is using to fund big road projects?
# of votes: 2958
I thought the question was not worded correctly - even if the oil prices weren't 'soaring' I vote the same way.
Ditto...I FReeped, therefore, I am.....
Let us hope they are losing sleep...
