This article is meant to be sympathetic to Sheehan, but read between the lines and you will find a self-centered, seriously disturbed woman. Follow the link and read to the end. The last paragraph is chilling.

"This whole thing was like so freaking spur of the moment." - Cindy Sheehan

Let's see this woman showed up in a DC basement along with Joe Wilson for the rat only downing street memo BS hearings. And were suppose to believe anything she does is a spur of the moment thing.

As I listened to the playing of the advertisement that she made, my response was that this woman does sound very child like, even in the way that she phrased her plea. I really wonder if she is really capable of thinking for herself, or if she is being totally manipulated. Very unsettling.

THis edition of Time is for the rest of the world not the USA.

The left is in mortal fear of a successful conclusion in Iraq. A free Iraqi nation standing on its own is a horror.

ANYTHING they can do to show US weakness is something they NEED DESPERATLY.

If time can facilitate the propaganda they will.

The last paragraph is chilling.

I don't agree or see that happening....while the lib-MSM will push this story most Americans are very sorry for what happened in Vietnam....we never captured Ho Chi Mihn- Sadaam will eventually be executed....after America was fully implanted in Vietnam LBJ decided against running for Pres....two and a half years after the Iraq war started GWB was re-elected..more then anything else...you never saw the counter protests in the 60's you witness now, never mind a counter protest at LBJ's ranch.

I’d like to know more about their “encampment.” Seriously. I’ve read several accounts and they seem to imply that they’re camped out on the side of the road.

I bring it up because 20+ years ago when I lived in Texas it was illegal to occupy the roadway or road right of way on any state or county maintained road.

As a youngster I sure as hell got cited for riding dirt bikes on the highway right of way. Not *on* the roadway, but way over on the other side of the bar ditch from the highway.

Also, I was a tow truck driver as one of my first jobs and we sure as heck towed a lot of vehicles that were parked on the shoulder. DPS/police would cut some slack for a while because they assumed you had run out of gas and would soon return. But at some point they have it towed because it was *illegal* to homestead the shoulder of the road with your vehicle.

They’d cut you slack if you were walking down the shoulder of the road too – assuming that you were off to get gas or find a pay phone. Sometimes would even give you a lift to the nearest station if they were headed that direction. But legally they could remove and cite you because it was illegal to walk along the road.

I recall it quite clearly because one old coot had running battles with the PD. They cited him several times for riding his horse down the shoulder of the farm to market road. He complained that every year they had a wagon train-type parade that traveled down the shoulder of the road. Police pointed out that yes, they did – they also had a permit to do so.

Since I’ve read that at least two neighbors have posted their property it leads me to believe they’re camped out on the side of the road. That used to be illegal.

Her husband has, appearently, filed for divorce. Nuff' said, really.

She's whacko, and sadly, she's helping (not helping, really) out a party...whose membership belongs on the side of a "Planters" can of mixed nuts.

I had a discussion this morning with a co-worker about her statement that she would not pay any more income taxes because she has given her son's life. He said that he thought she had a point. I told him that she didn't give the country her son's life, her son did that.

Personally, I don't think the lady is very bright and has been easily manipulated by the left wing anti-war crowd and the MSM.

It is an easy thing to turn this narcissist Sheehan into a mule for the left complete with paypal accounts set up by moveon for donations to Peace House.

It is a formula developed during the Viet Nam War to use the grief of the parents to flip them against the government. This tactic was used in the movie, "Friendly Fire", aired as a TV movie in 1979--too late to affect the Vietnam War, which ended in 1975. However, the book, "Friendly Fire" by C.D.B. Bryan was published in 1976 began the process of discrediting those 58,219 heroes who died in Vietnam and the 153,356 heroes wounded. It embodies the psychological template to be used in future military actions by the left against our government.

We also saw this tactic being used with the families of the 9/11. You should remember the noisy moms called the Jersey Girls, and the 9-11 Families for a Peaceful Tomorrow (funded by John Kerry's wife Teresa).

After prayerful consideration of Mz. Sheehan's behavior with a good Christian woman, I wish to make this point.

Cindy Sheehan is ultimately not the villain here. It is the evil that has preyed upon her grief and is making her a tool to embolden our enemies against the country for which her son gave his life. Their efforts will quite probably be responsible for more grieving mothers than would otherwise be necessary. Mz. Sheehan is their hapless victim.

How many of us really know how vulnerable a woman can be who has lost her child. I know that this does not excuse her behavior, but it does mitigate her responsibility.

Right this lady is pathetic.

She has illusions of power. That now that she lost a son in the war, she is entitled to run the country and the war.

She feels that she has the right to demand a President of the United States to give her time to mock him.

She feels that she above all others is the anointed one to determine how America handles the Iraq situation.

She needs to be ignored. And, if President Bush visits with her I will be mad.

A woman lost her son in Iraq and won't leave George W. Bush alone until he sees her.AGAIN.

she is, the mother of Casey, 24, who died was killed by terrorists in Iraq last year

She says George W. Bush killed her son

She full of it. Terrorists, most likely not even Iraqis, killed her son, who was doing his duty, and going beyond it to try and save other soldiers. He is a hero, she's a bitter old lady being exploited by extremely anti American groups and forces.

But at a time when 56% of the respondents in a CNN poll say they think the war is going poorly,

Thanks to TimeWarnerCNNAOL, which tells them that is what is happening. We know that at best they only tell the part of the story that fits their 60s anti war radical agenda. Sometimes they just plain lie.

The last paragraph is chilling

In 1965 a group of just 25 antiwar protesters demonstrated outside President Lyndon Johnson's Texas ranch. Within a few years, the handful had turned into a movement.

Lot's different now though. LBJ was a wuss, George Bush is not. The anti war movement already exists now, as it did then, but not in the same form. (the original Vietnam anti war movement was rife with old line communists)

But most importantly, the Internet and talk radio did not exist then. There were only 3 TV networks. And most importantly of all, their was no Free Republic.

Cindy Sheehan, 48, is not a natural-born revolutionary...

She's an aging hippie. What's the difference?

BS. She has been a Hysteric Leftist activist all her life. Yet another example of the Dinosaur Media publishing what they WANT the story to be, not what the truth is.
