Yes, apparently he (the filmmaker) views the American porn industry as racist, in that it has historically excluded Asian-American men. But Asian-American women have been adequately represented by his account.

It appears Hamamoto needs to take a basic economics course at UNCA. The reason Asian men are "under-represented" in porn films is because there's no demand to see them. The demand for Asian women, conversely, is quite large.

We visited a bookstore down near an area where there were a bunch of restaurants and coffeeshops.

I knew that Asheville had a reputation of being second only to Chapel Hill in terms of its liberalism, but I was still surprised to see *An*Entire*Noam*Chomsky*Section there.

Don't miss breakfast at Early Girl. And visit the Catholic Church there--it was designed by the same architect who did Grand Central Station and Ellis Island. The Art Deco buildings were done by the same guy who built a lot in Miami...he summered in Asheville, wintered in Miami. For shopping...there's Mast General Store, and the Farmer's Market.

It's a shame that nice towns are wasted on the weirdo crowd. As much as I like Asheville, all those tattoos and peircings and fat women holding hands wears on one after a while.
