Hello again Melanie,
Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks Cherie
In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:
The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her sons good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.
Sincerely,
Casey Sheehans grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Not surprised at this. Thanks for posting, IA1R-2.
This statement was released on Thursday morning if memory serves.
A Useful Death
A mother's anguish turns to ire,
Her liquid tears to spears of fire,
A useful fool for the liberal Left,
All hatred now, no more bereft.
The honor which her son embraced,
Is now dishonored, now disgraced,
As his mother stands atop his grave,
From there to shriek, from there to rave
Yes, some are maddened in their grief,
And grief can surely change belief;
But this woman's views, her family say,
Have long been held, long fore today,
Enabling Leftists to use her grieving,
For Moore deception, Moore deceiving.
I see this mother as a willing fool,
A useful Moorish Code Pinko tool.
As one who fought in another place,
I sorrow for this boy's disgrace,
By a zealot mother grafting grief
Stealing his brave deeds, an honor thief,
Usurping his valor to claim her share,
Five minutes of fame in Media's glare.
Her platform one you don't see often:
A dishonored, flag-draped, soldier's coffin.
I can hear Michael Moore muttering under his breath,
"Yeah, this was really a useful death."

That says it all, that says it all. Thanks for that post Boazo. It is POETIC Justice from even her family and relatives.
Have any of Casey's fellow soldiers, ones who knew him while he served in the military, come forward to relate what they know of Casey's true feelings?
that tells it all, thanks.
I'm still waiting to see this mentioned by the MSM........
Anyone?
Anyone at all?
Bueller?
(crickets chirping.)
I don't know whether they are allowed to make any kind of statement about this situation. It might be hush hush for now. Since the family members and relatives and friends have denounced his mother's agenda of using his death as a platform to get media attention for her "Non-Profit" Org., maybe more people will come out of the woodwork and expose this sham. She's probably hoping to get paid by the media for her statements so that she can pay off her back taxes which she hasn't paid for many years while she cries out that she's NO LONGER going to pay her taxes. She hasn't done this for many years BEFORE her son "died in vain" in his mothers eyes.
And what do his father and siblings have to say? I notice they're not included in this message.
Note that he is in divorce proceedings. Probably advised not so say anything.
I don't know her or her family personally, so I can't tell you what they think. I only posted what some of her relatives declared publicly in an official statement.
This will be reported nowhere.
By the way, I'm pretty PO'd above the taxes that I paid in '04, so I'm demanding a face-to-face meeting with the President to discuss. If he doesn't respond, then of course he's a coward.
I did read somewhere, not sure where, that her husband is disgusted with her tirades and media attention. I thinks this is one of his reasons he is seeking a divorce, on top of her income tax evasion issue for many years.
Plus, it will give you a legitimate excuse for not paying your 2005 taxes, just like Ms Sheehan. (/sarcasm>
Will she wind up in the nut house?
While an overt political statement by one of his fellow soldiers might well be inappropriate (e.g. "Casey told me he strongly supported Bush's policies"), I'd think that statements like "Casey strongly believed in the appropriateness of our actions in Iraq" would be ok. It seems like if he was really opposed, somehow we would have heard about it.
Would it be safe to assume that these are Cindy's ex-in-laws?
Great writing Boazo. It should be posted on eery thread on this subject!!!
There was a filing dated just this Friday for a divorce. Seems Mr. Sheehan is fed up with Cindy's circus.
