I keep thinking "Who are you lady, to demand anything from President Bush?" She was not elected. She has no business telling him anything. President Bush makes those decisions.

I think her handlers are going to see to it she's gone VERY soon. She's saying too many goofy things that are beginning to embarass the Left, and the public is quickly discovering this is a professional activist, not a bereaved mom.

I think that's part of the reason for her now refusing to talk to anyone who is not the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq (and she will apparently only do that in private). And I remember reading an article in which a reporter described how, in the beginning of her "vigil," a person could simply walk up to her and talk, but with each day there was a new layer of handlers to shield her from anyone wishing to speak with her. And why Daily Kos had to suggest the establishment of the cult of "Mother Sheehan." People can read her statements, or see an interview on television, and know that something is just a little off. She is not resonating. It's like during the Presidential campaign, when Kerry's poll numbers would go down when he was in front of the cameras too much, and would go up when he would have his surrogates speak for him.

Me, I'm waiting for her to start screaming to a television camera during a live broadcast, "It's the JOOOOOOS!"

Sheehan's Family Disagrees With Tactics

Melanie Morgan of KSFO Radio in San Francisco has obtained a statement from several family members of Cindy Sheehan, the anti-war mother who is standing out in from of the Presdient's ranch:

In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:

The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.

Sincerely,

Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

So this woman is the lone ranger in her family on this.

I feel bad for this family that has to see one of their fallen members exploited for political purposes. Perhaps Cindy will get the message and stop embarrasing her family.

"...getting rich and feasting off the blood of our children.”

Ummmm...that would be the cretins at the UN involved in the oil for food scandal.

“I have to wonder for the rest of my life if the gun which took Casey’s life was sold to Saddam by the US or by Britain.”

RPGs, RPKs, and AK-47s do not come from Western nations.

Keep talking, lady...you get more and more off base and further from reality with each statement.

Anti-War Mother Has Ties To MoveOn

An excellent discovery by Eric Hogue this afternoon:

After speaking with Catherine Moy, conservative columnist with the Vacaville Reporter during the show, we discovered that Cindy Sheehan, (and one of her daughters), had volunteered for "MoveOn" during the presidential campaign of 2004.

Moy also mentioned that Sheehan's husband, Patrick, is nowhere to be found during her national media 'sit-in' in Crawford, Texas. During their return interview from Seattle, Washington, after Sheehan's 'first' visit with President Bush, it was Patrick who mentioned that they visited with the president with great respect - because they determined to treat the encounter "the way Casey would have wanted us to".

So, the question being, "where is Patrick now?" Have the organizers of "Code Pink" corralled the male, and caged him from the press so to keep his opinions and speech quiet, while Cindy makes a fool of herself in Texas?

Also, where are the other siblings? They are all of age, and should be asked of their opinions of "Mom". Moy informed us today that one of the daughters appeared in a "MoveOn" commercial during the election. Why hasn't this daughter appeared before the media?

We predicted this yesterday. I said that since she appeared to be more moderate in her approach last year, she must have been picked up by some very leftist group.

Let's be fair. Kennedy would go on record with troop pull out too.

I allowed the woman to be possessed by grief. Even allowed possibility the propaganda of the Left had given her a misguided target to focus her grief on.

But that was before the woman started in with her anti-semitism and is proven linked to the extreme fringes of the Michael Moore's, Berg's father and the communist groups.

Right now I'm feeling more sympathy for the neighbor that wants to be relieved of the presence of these anti-American stalkers.

So she wants more private meetings with the President than the leader of India has had... what makes her so important again, other than her willingness to prostitute her son's memory to traitors?

Actually, I think that she is doing a good job of pretending to be sane while she spews someone else's views? Her son must be loving her for her actions? She is holding up better than Jesse Jackson did at the Schiavo execution!!!!!

Wonder what would have happened to the mother of an Iraqi soldier who camped herself outside Saddam's palace in Tikrit to protest the war?

And Cindy Sheehan calls Bush a monster?

A couple more choice quotes:

"Our country has been overtaken by murderous thugs... gangsters who lust after fortunes and power; never caring that their addictions are at the expense of our loved ones, and the blood of innocent people near and far... The US government is now ruled by murderous hypocrites... criminals who should be arrested, charged appropriately, confined behind bars... In their secret hiding places, while celebrating newly won fortunes with their fellow brass, these men must surely congratulate themselves with orgies of carnal pleasure as they mock the dwindling multitudes who are yet so blind as to mistake them for God's devoted servants"

"Every member of Bush's executive branch (past and present) and every member of Congress who voted to give George the authority to invade Iraq have innocent blood on their hands. For the next State of the Union address, maybe the hypocrites in Congress should shamefacedly display blood-soaked hands, instead of proudly wriggling fingers stained with ink to symbolize sham Iraqi elections."

She sounds more like some blood-thirsty mullah than a grieving mother. I will be charitable and assume she's simply insane.

My position has always been that she is just as brainwashed as a Hare Krishna. I too feel sorry for her because its apparent that she's been taken advantage of in her weakened state brought on by grief for the loss of her son.

Doesn't change the fact that she is a moonbat and is losing whatever grasp on reality that she may have had, nor does it change the fact that she is changing from being a joke to possibly being dangerous. But I, too, pity the woman.

A Useful Death

A mother's anguish turns to ire,
Her liquid tears to spears of fire,
A useful fool for the liberal Left,
All hatred now, no more bereft.

The honor which her son embraced,
Is now dishonored, now disgraced,
As his mother stands atop his grave,
From there to shriek, from there to rave

Yes, some are maddened in their grief,
And grief can surely change belief;
But this woman's views, her family say,
Have long been held, long fore today,

Enabling Leftists to use her grieving,
For Moore deception, Moore deceiving.
I see this mother as a willing fool,
A useful Moorish Code Pinko tool.

As one who fought in another place,
I sorrow for this boy's disgrace,
By a zealot mother grafting grief
Stealing his brave deeds, an honor thief,

Usurping his valor to claim her share,
Five minutes of fame in Media's glare.
Her platform one you don't see often:
A dishonored, flag-draped, soldier's coffin.

I can hear Michael Moore muttering under his breath,
"Yeah, this was really a useful death."

I think you're right. All those irrational and ignorant statements she's been making is embarrassing the Left; in spite of the fact that privately they all agree with her. Funny how that works. Their words only sound intelligent to them in their private chats and backroom forums. The minute those same opinions are shouted out loudly for all to hear, replayed again and again, they are seen for what they truly are. The irrational, ignorant rantings of a mentally unstable person who does not care about truth and facts, only "feelings".
