Our county gov't is a mess, too. We have a D.A. that's nuts, too.
I think it's amazing the perks "public servants" give themselves. Retirement benefits are out of sight.

We've been fighting city hall for 6 years. It only began to pay off in late April when the city manager was caught on camera doing electrical work without a license. Then it began to snowball. It was indicative of Devine Intervention the way it all came about.

We will get the third vote we need installed tomorrow night.

It's taken six years and we have the Mayor (in office 2 years)and the local radio and paper on our side. All of us are Republicans--'cept the paper but the editor has been with us editorially--since the city manager cussed his wife. It's been like a zoo. The people we've been fighting aren't even smart! That's the scary part!!!

I had to bring this over here to continue the conversation..

This type of government is running rampant throughout parts of the country and I applaud you for doing something about it, as we are in Western NY..

What ever happened to the days when working for the government was "Public Service"? Government types these days are all about themselves and what they can do for their friends. Erie County NY has 9000 employees and a dwindling population below a million, 936,000 to be more precise. We are blessed with the highest taxes in the country, highest utility costs, highest business costs, highest medicaid costs (Nat avg 2500 per person, NY 5000 per person) more restrictions, regulations on businesses that puts us at the botton of the list #50 in having a business friendly atmosphere..

Corruption runs rampant from the governor to the local councilmen. Retirement with healthcare and pensions for life with no co-pays and on top of it all no state taxes are being paid and they move out of the state because it's to expensive to live here...

Our sales tax is 8.25% and they are threatening to raise it 3/4 of a penny. Every penny increase is worth 110 million in the county coffers. All of government has become addicted to revenue to hand out for jobs and pork spending to buy votes.

A wise and frugal government should be there to freely let the people regulate their own commerce, free of government regulations and constant interference. When the government fears the people, we have Liberty. When the people fear the government, we have Tyranny..

It's time for the People throughout the United States to take back control of the out of control spending and corruption that is effecting our very lifestyles.

I wish everyone here could vote in NY. Tomorrow at 4PM I have an interview with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, they are the biggest and most influntial business orginization in the area, Please Pray that the interview goes well and I get their endorsement. Also on Sept 7th I will be having my first televised debate with the Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce. All the candidates for County Legislature will be there, I am by far the most qualified for the job. I am completely involved in the start of the Tax Revolution that started in December and we created Primary Challenge which is the biggest threat the local elected officals have ever had to face.

By the Grace of God we will be successful in turning the tide and changing the direction of Erie County NY..
