Good.
Yes, he hasn't responded to any of my posts to him. Perhaps my tagline "L'chaim!" scared him off! ;^)
A reward for the Cohen family
By Israel Harel
...Edited...
In the lovely house of Rabbi Ophir Cohen and his wife Noga, everything is in its place. The glass covering the huge bookshelf shines, like it was polished for the Sabbath. Their eight children are calm and behave as they do every Sabbath. There is no denial, but there is faith. And around the Sabbath table they don't protest when the possibility is raised that their efforts won't succeed. They will welcome the evacuators, says Noga, as one welcomes brothers.
On the 11th day of the Jewish month of Heshvan 5761, November 20, 2000, a powerful explosive detonated near a bus carrying children to the local schools. Two adults - Miri Amitai and Gabi Biton - were killed on the spot. Three children from the Cohen family were seriously wounded. Intelligence sources in the army tied Mohammed Dahlan to the incident. Ariel Sharon, then in opposition (in Ehud Barak's government), demanded that Dahlan be killed. Now Sharon is (via the defense minister) conducting "coordinating talks" with Dahlan, a Palestinian minister.
The terror attack stunned the country. Tens of thousands of people recited Psalms to save the Cohen children, at the request of their parents: Orit lost her right foot, Yisrael lost his right leg below the knee, and Tehila ended up losing both her legs. After nearly two years of rehabilitation, in the course of which the children and the parents discovered overwhelming strength, the Cohen family returned to its home in Kfar Darom.
And now, surely as a show of gratitude for the family's bravery and persistence in returning to the place where the children were hurt and which remains dangerous, the government of Israel decided to present the family with the highest reward for bravery that a normal country - which appreciates largeness of spirit and courage - can give to its best, most loyal and most modest citizens: evacuation from home, community and land.

"the idea of Gaza becoming a "supernest" for terrorists is pretty frightening"
Gaza is already a supernest for terrorists, in case you haven't noticed it yet.
But it is also surrounded by an electric fence and under control, which will continue unabated.
The drones and missiles can hit anywhere and any terrorist there, you know that.
Israel has annexed all of Jerusalem but that has not stopped Bush, et al from demanding they give it away.No one has demanded it all be given away. I don't expect the Palis to end up with more than the Haram al Sharif mosques and the Muslim quarter.
