That is exactly what she wants. She wants to be acclaimed in all the media as a noble martyr to the cause. And her Liberal/Socialist handlers are happy to encourage her self-destruction.

I feel sorta sad for her, in a way. She's setting herself up for a lot of pain and rejection not too far down the road.
