Cindy Sheehan Blasts Bush and U.S. Policy With Harsh Remarks August 14, 2005 12:18 p.m. EST

Crawford, Texas (AHN) - Cindy Sheehan aka "Mother Sheehan" to anti-war protesters currently lining a road that leads to President Bush's Crawford,Texas ranch, is calling the President out as well as U.S. policies which she says cost her son's life.
Sheehan's son was killed in Iraq by terrorist insurgents in April 2004. Sheehan had claimed until recently that the meeting with President Bush was disgraceful and that Bush acted like the meeting with grieving families was a big party.
An article uncovered from the Associated Press showed otherwise and featured Sheehan's remarks about the President in a more than kind light. Sheehan has since claimed she was overcome with grief and since has demanded a second meeting with the President.
But the tone Sheehan has taken on recently is now less about her son and more about the war and U.S. policies itself.
"That lying bastard, George Bush, is taking a five-week vacation in time of war," Sheehan tells the Veterans For Peace, Mike Ferner. "You get that maniac out here to talk with me in person. Bush needs to tell me why my son died in Iraq. I've got the whole month of August off, and so does he."
Sheehan has since taken up with many anti-war groups who have taken the opportunity to line side-by-side with the mother who plans to take the protest straight to the streets of Washington, D.C. when Bush returns after Labor Day.
"The other thing I want him to tell me is 'just what was the noble cause Casey died for?' Was it freedom and democracy? Bull---t! He died for oil. He died to make your friends richer. He died to expand American imperialism in the Middle East. We're not freer here, thanks to your PATRIOT Act. Iraq is not free. You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism," she says.
"There, I used the 'I' word -- imperialism," the 48 year-old mother quipped. "And now I'm going to use another 'I' word impeachment because we cannot have these people pardoned. They need to be tried on war crimes and go to jail. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny . . . you give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me for back taxes and we'll put this war on trial."

And this is a bad thing? Let them bury themselves. Its a great way for them to lure brain-dead people to their cause. Saves us the trouble of rooting them out (sheep from the goats, and all that).
Nancy Sheehan's comments have all of the honesty and trustworthiness of the NARAL ad.

At first I was angry that the liberal media made her their poster girl...however, the more she talks, the more nutty she comes accross...which hurts the liberal media, the anti-American groups who coach and use her, and hurts the anti-war message. LET HER TALK.
She is the new face of the RATS. Every time I think the RATS can't go any lower they surprise me.
I, for one, am going to stop making hits on any internet news item on Mother Sheehaha. The old demand and supply rule.
And what does she think about individual retirement accounts and the Kyoto Treaty?
her PR advisors are getting her so far afield she'll never find her way back.
I think the gloves are coming off...Fred Barnes called her a "crackpot", and even ego maniac McCain said that it is a LIE to say that Bush does not have compassion for the loss she suffered.

I remember back during the 2004 presidential election when I attended a rally for president Bush in PA. during his bus tour when I saw for myself just how biased the MSM can be.
An ABC news reporter was looking for interviews for the nightly news with Bush supporters everywhere she looked but the only people she interviewed was a group of 5 Kerry supporters holding signs drawn with crayons.
Many Bush supporters volunteered to be interviewed but were denied and as a matter of fact when they approached her she would tell the cameraman to turn the camera off until we left. It was a pathetic display of liberal journalism.
After Cindy's recent triade. I lost total respect for that woman.
I believe that Cindy will not gain respect from middle america if she keeps mouthing off.

Another thought: she's referred to Bush as an idiot and a maniac. Does she honestly think that talk like that is going to bring the Pres out at a dead gallop to talk to her?
