In a tribute to Peter Jennings last week, ABC told us that Jennings' reporting from Cambodia was "singlehandedly" responsible for the cut off of funding to the pro-USA forces there. Last night they told us that Sheehan has "reinvigorated" the peace movement. Apparently, paving the way for the Killing Fields and the Boat People is a good thing to them. But what else can be expected by our far-left news media?

Cindy Sheehan has always deserved sympathy for her loss. Now she deserves pity for the way it has deranged her. The people who are using her to attack President Bush, however, deserve our everlasting contempt.

Cindy Sheehan's remaining children deserve to have their mother be a mother to them.

Well then, Peter Jennings is also singlehandedly responsible for the millions of deaths that occurred in the years following that cutting off of funds. I always blamed the dems for all those deaths. What goes around, comes around. AND Peter Jennings paid a price even though it was years later. Dying from lung cancer is not without its pain.
