This is really frightening. The first think I though of...how many truckers just 'pull over' and sleep at rest stops over night. What protection do they have if someone wants to take their truck? Will drivers have to start driving with a partner so that one can always be awake/alert...think of what that would do to the economy with the added costs carried by consumers.
Truckers are already clued in to suspicious traffic. I haven't met in trucker in the past decade who wasn't fairly alert to the environment.
