Some of Mother Sheehan's Gentle Musings
On America
"We began the killing as soon as we stepped foot on these shores [of America] and the killing has gone on unabated for over 200 years.""There has always been excuses for wars, but NONE of them have been good or valid."
"This country is not worth dying for.
America has been killing people on this continent since it was started."
"The U.S. government is a morally repugnant system.

On 9/11
9/11 was Pearl Harbor for the neo-conservatives agenda.
http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Printable.asp?ID=17915
The Jewish Plot
"Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel."
"My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel."
"Am I stupid? No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by a George Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11."
"My first born was killed violently for a neo-con agenda that only benefits a very chosen few in this world."
George Bush and his neo-conservatives killed my son.

On Other Threats
"Is there yet an American who can not clearly see that Dick Cheney...will say whatever he thinks is required to ultimately cause wealth and power to move to himself and to his friends? ...need I defile this holy place with words like "Haliburton" and "Kellog, Brown & Root" and "torture" and "US weapons industry"?"
Is there anyone in America who cannot yet see that Donald Runsfeld is a liar...that he, as with Hitler and Stalin....will say anything so long as he thinks it will help shape the world to his own liking? Is there even one, sane adult among us who cannot see that Donald Rumsfeld is a threat to our nation's security and to peace on our beloved earth?
"As soft-spoken and sincere-sounding as Paul Wolfowitz is, is there yet any sane adult in this country who's skin does not crawl when this murderous liar opens his mouth and speaks? Am I the only person in this room who clearly sees that Paul Wolfowitz is a threat to our nation's security...and to peace on our beloved earth?"
Our Elected Leaders
"Our country has been overtaken by murderous thugs...gangsters who lust after fortunes and power; never caring that their addictions are at the expense of our loved ones, and the blood of innocent people near and far."
"We've watched these thugs parade themselves before the whole world as if they are courageous advocates for Christian moral values...and for the spread of democracy."
"The US government is now ruled by murderous hypocrites...criminals who should be arrested, charged appropriately, confined behind bars.""In their secret hiding places, while celebrating newly won fortunes with their fellow brass, these men must surely congratulate themselves with orgies of carnal pleasure as they mock the dwindling multitudes who are yet so blind as to mistake them for God's devoted servants."
"Every member of Bush's executive branch (past and present) and every member of Congress who voted to give George the authority to invade Iraq have innocent blood on their hands. For the next State of the Union address, maybe the hypocrites in Congress should shamefacedly display blood-soaked hands, instead of proudly wriggling fingers stained with ink to symbolize sham Iraqi elections."
"Then we have this lying bastard, George Bush..."
"So anyway that filth-spewer and warmonger, George Bush was speaking..."
"We can't let somebody rise to the top who will pardon these war criminals. Because they need to go to prison for what they've done in this world. We can't have a pardon. They need to pay for what they've done."
Civic Duty
"Another thing that I'm doing is - - my son was killed in 2004, so I'm not paying my taxes for 2004. If I get a letter from the IRS, I'm gonna say, you know what, this war is illegal; this is why this war is illegal. This war is immoral; this is why this war is immoral. You killed my son for this. I don't owe you anything. And if I live to be a million, I won't owe you a penny."
"And I want them to come after me, because unlike what you've been doing with the war resistance, I want to put this frickin' war on trial. And I want to say, "You give me my son, and I'll pay your taxes."
On Terrorism
"You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you'll stop the terrorism."
http://electroniciraq.net/news/printer2098.shtml
"When I was growing up, it was Communists'. Now it's Terrorists'. So you always have to have somebody to fight and be afraid of, so the war machine can build more bombs, guns, and bullets and everything."
The biggest terrorist is George W. Bush.

Support For Troops
"I DEFINITELY think that we should support war resisters in the military. "
"I know several people who are being court-martialed, and they need support--they need monetary support, they need our moral support, and they need to know that were with them."
"We need to encourage more people to do this. "
Concern For Others
"Why does Terry Schiavo deserve to live more than my son, Spc. Casey Austin Sheehan?"
There are some more of her insights collected here:

Add: The Rajneesh group wants a meet and greet with Cindy. They have a job opening for her in south America. Something to do with waxing 93 rolls royces.
It was of course where I got the "Mother Sheehan" sobriquet.
The reponses at LGF are heartening.
Yeah, it's nice to see insanity recognized. But for me it was more intriguing to click on Kos and read the absolutley amazing debate about whether to call her "Mother Sheehan" or not. It has to be read to be believed, but don't give them the hits. Trust me, they're just displaying their bizarre inability to resist the lure of meaningless details about more important itssues.
I'll do that. Thanks.
Lady: have a stroke already!

Yet people risk their lives to get here!
>>>I realize how tragic your loss is and I know how much pain there is crushing your heart and I know the darkness that suddenly came to wrap your life and wipe away your dreams and I do feel the heat of your tears that won't dry until you find the answers to your question; why you lost your loved one?...<<<
>>> Ma'am, we asked for your nation's help and we asked you to stand with us in our war and your nation's act was (and still is) an act of ultimate courage and unmatched sense of humanity.<<<
>>>Our request is justified, death was our daily bread and a million Iraqi mothers were expecting death to knock on their doors at any second to claim someone from their families.<<<
>>>Your face doesn't look strange to me at all; I see it everyday on endless numbers of Iraqi women who were struck by losses like yours.<<<
>>>Our fellow country men and women were buried alive, cut to pieces and thrown in acid pools and some were fed to the wild dogs while those who were lucky enough ran away to live like strangers and the Iraqi mother was left to grieve one son buried in an unfound grave and another one living far away who she might not get to see again.<<<
>>>We did nothing to deserve all that suffering, well except for a dream we had; a dream of living like normal people do.<<<
>>>We cried out of joy the day your son and his comrades freed us from the hands of the devil and we went to the streets not believing that the nightmare is over <<<
>>> Freedom is not an American thing and it's not an Iraqi thing, it's what unites us as human beings. We refuse all kinds of restrictions and that's why we fought and still fighting everyday in spite of the swords in the hands of the cavemen who want us dead or slaves for their evil masters.<<<
>>>You are free to go and leave us alone but what am I going to tell your million sisters in Iraq? Should I ask them to leave Iraq too? Should I leave too? And what about the eight millions who walked through bombs to practice their freedom and vote? Should they leave this land too?<<<
>>>Is it a cursed land that no one should live in? Why is it that we were chosen to live in all this pain, why me, why my people, why you?...<<<

Yes I know that the chickenhawk weasel kept calling her mom, with no incentive for doing so other than not knowing who the heck she is.
I do know her though, I know her through her words and actions over the last year. I know her pain because I open my heart and let the empathy flow when ever I read her thoughts or see her likeness. I do the same for her and all the others.... and Id just like to say to her and the others in Crawford getting ready to rally in one of the alternative Texas Churches (High School football in TX is a religion)....
I'd just like to tell you Mom... Im coming home.
I'm coming home to lift you up and lend focus to yours and the others family words. Im coming to support you with hugs and work and time. I'm coming to give you my heart, my compassion and my strength.
What more is there to do when the mother of the single greatest cause in 40+ years tells you and your brothers and sisters that she needs you to come home now and support her.
I'm coming home to you Mom, your maternal spirit is a beacon to our large and great family.
I'll see you next Friday, stay safe and strong.
All my love and all my peace,
Jason

While her loss is respected by me as both a citizen and US Military Officer, she is fast becomine a poster child for the lunatic left.
The rantings are far past respected dissent over the loss of her child. They clearly are those of handlers who have taken her loss to a lower level and as such she is being used.
This is a shame and a disgrace, to her, and especially to the memory of her most honorable son.
They trust musicians and emotionally-expressive people to tell them "the truth" more than they do hard, proveable facts. They are emotionally stunted, unable to let go of the happy playgroup they used to have, where mommy gave them whatever they wanted (without payment in return of course), where everyone sang and played, and if you didn't like something you didn't think about it, didn't consider others' needs or the realities of money and resources, you just whined and then cried and eventually, to shut you up, you got what you wanted. And you napped and watched TV whenever you felt like it, and it was so easy to figure out who the Bad Guy was--he was the one who wasn't into "fun" and who told you things you didn't want to hear.
This brief journey to DUmmieland is brought to you by Haliburton.

All her remarks are nothing but TREASON. She should be jailed for them. She is giving comfort to the enemy. Does anyone think for one moment that the terrorist arent listening? The anti American remarks she makes will get more troops killed. The terrorist can use her remarks to recruit more terrorist. They wont have to make another video, she is providing them with one for free.
Whats worse is the media is helping her out.
God have mercy on America!!
I think Medea Sheehan is more appropriate than Mother Sheehan.
And you are right:
Cindy Sheehan, Gold Star Families for Peace
at Conyer's Hearing on Downing Street Minutes Ray McGovern, a former CIA agent (R), places a photo of the son of Cindy Sheehan, founder of Gold Star Families for American Peace(C) on the table as Ambassador Joseph Wilson looks on during an unofficial forum on the Downing Street Minutes on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC June 16, 2005. The document, created in 2002 for British Prime Minister Tony Blair said that United States President George W. Bush was intent on invading Iraq and that intelligence was being manipulated to support Bushs interests. Sheehan's son, Army Specialist Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq.
From the Washington Post:
"The session took an awkward turn when witness Ray McGovern, a former intelligence analyst, declared that the United States went to war in Iraq for oil, Israel and military bases craved by administration "neocons" so "the United States and Israel could dominate that part of the world." He said that Israel should not be considered an ally and that Bush was doing the bidding of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. "Israel is not allowed to be brought up in polite conversation," McGovern said. "The last time I did this, the previous director of Central Intelligence called me anti-Semitic."
Cindy Sheehan is an anti-American anti-Semite, just like Joe Wilson and CIA turncoat Ray McGovern.
Weird how she can bad-mouth the USA all the live-long day but if we dare question her patriotism.....
This is a flyer that was passed at when Cindy Sheehan spoke at San Francisco State University:
